365 Days of Blush

Day Sixteen-

February 3rd 

Just got back from seeing Blush, there was a bonfire at the barn in honor of this lady Kathy who fell off her horse and is paralyzed now. I rode Blush from her pasture to the bonfire and we sat there and enjoyed the warmth for an hour, while Blush ate grain. Everyone thought she was cute, and then I rode her back and had to ninja jump on her because she tried to walk off, and people were impressed that I didn’t die :D Blush was very good about riding in the dark as well. Love my baby girl so much!

Day Fifteen- 

February 2nd

Went out and rode blush today, bought her a new little s hackamore, so i tried it on her with huge success! her gaits were so much better, her stops were on a dime, she listened and everything. bending and flexing still needs works but i really like it and so does she, so we are going to continue using it. for those who know more about hackamores please tell me if my placement is wrong, it is on the hard bone in her face, not on the sensitive cartilage, but what about the chin strap? should the rope be moved?

blush enjoyed not having a bit in her mouth, gave her one less thing to be distracted about and her trotting was simply a dream! 

Day Fourteen-

February 1st

went out and saw blush and we rode around, i took some videos, but im way to embarrassed to post them speaking i’m not a perfected rider yet, or anytime soon to be exact.. this post is dedicated to blush’s lope/canter the hardest ride you will ever ride. it’s bumpy and unless you can really hold yourself if it is hard to ride. i think she pics up her feet so much from her shoes but it could be a variety of things at this point. i love it still though, it’s going to make me such a better rider, and it reminds me not to be spoiled by other smoother horses! gotta love the good and bad otherwise it’s not love

Day Twelve-

January 30th

Went out in the morning and we lunged, blush was being a sass and rearing so i took funny videos! but then i deleted them somehow and yeah sad day.

but then i went to the barn after work and saw her because i was having the worst day ever and i missed her so much. i ran up to her and just hugged her to death and she rested her head on my shoulder and made silly noises that i appreciated :) her rears were bigger then the pic that day, but i couldnt get a better pic

Day Eleven- 

January 29th

Didn’t get to see Blush today, not enough time between going to Tricia’s and work, but I missed her dearly all day. She was the only thing that got me through work, i was going to call off but i remembered that blush needs new shoes and she needs the money, so i pulled through! Here’s a picture of us :D I love my baby she is worth all the hard work because she is mine, no one else can take ownership of her, i spent my hard earned money on her and she is mine and mine only :) 

p.s excuse the fact that i never smile, im awkward like that… and the act that i have a burberry scarf on at the barn, don’t know what that was about. 

Day Ten-

January 28th

Blush was waiting at the gate this morning when I went to go see her :D I put her beautiful sheet on her and took this pic because she is adorable with it on, you can see her from the road with that sheet, it’s hilarious. and then I lunged her and she was being a goon and rearing and playing, obviously she was enjoying the fine weather. Then we saddled and Malea came and was lunging mark who was fresh as well. We had a nice talk and she loved all of Blushy’s pink stuff. Blush was very good! she walk/trotted very nicely, but her lope was a mess as always but that’s okay<3 Then I cooled her down and grained her and she went into the pasture after some loving and ran around to show off to me and malea :D

Day Nine-

January 27th

Dedicated to Blush’s best boyfriend Mafia, they are riding buddies and tolerate each other to no end. they are also very competitive with each other, but in a good way. Mafia is a big appendix gelding that belongs to my best friend Amber. He always tries to follow Blush out, and they lovee each other. Today he accidently cut his mouth open with his bit while lunging, the vet said let it heal and keep it clean, which is hard to do because it’s his mouth.. but he should make a full recovery with a small dent as a battle scar, poor moofa D:
